ICANN DNS Symposium
The sixth Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) DNS Symposium (IDS 2023) will be held on 5 September 2023 in Da Nang, Vietnam. IDS 2023 will be held immediately before the OARC 41 workshop and after the "A Day of DNS Abuse Discussions" event.
This year, ICANN will invite speakers to present on the integration and security of the Domain Name System (DNS) with emerging technologies, exploring the challenges and opportunities associated with this integration. The symposium invites researchers, developers, and operators to present on subjects including, but not limited to, blockchains, Internet of Things, and novel uses of the DNS, such as IP to location translation and blocklists.
